It’s time for the family reunion! All family members are looking forward to these upcoming vacations to Costa Rica and they each have different expectations.

If you find a great house, where everybody is happy and comfortable, this trip is already starting with the right foot; but how to know which is ideal for your family? In our experience, the best family beach houses are those that have super comfortable common areas for everybody to mingle and also spacious private spaces to rest and enjoy some individual time.

Our family vacation rentals have an open concept which enables you to integrate different areas of the house and share with each other while enjoying different activities. For example in our Green House 1, some of you can be cooking in the large kitchen and interacting with those at the pool area or living room.

Depending on the beach home that you choose, you can enjoy other special amenities such as a lounge, yoga deck, jacuzzi, bbq space or the kids room with books and toys in Casa Vista de Olas.

If you are traveling with kids and plan to spend a lot of time at the beach, building sand castles and having fun in the sun, your best choice will probably be one of our family reunion rentals that are located just footsteps from the beach, such as Green House 2.

That way you don’t have to drive and carry all the beach toys, sunblocks, change of clothes and snacks only to find out when you arrive that the kids fell asleep in the car! If, on the other hand, your family is mostly grown ups who want to relax, you might prefer other features such as a nice view, a hot tub or a lounge to chill .

Nosara has great activities to share as a family; such as watching the turtles nesting at Playa Ostional or going for a day trip to Playa San Juanillo.
